Imagine the house they could have if they drove a Toyota.

Probably the typical North or West Seattle-ish (I can’t tell) house bought 25 years ago for 150K now “worth” 80 0K, maybe that helps with the danger.

It’s funny that even our inflated estimates are a little low these days. Just can’t wrap our heads around the out of control price increases.

Or ride a bus. This is Seattle we’re talking about here... Hell, even I’m considering it, since an hour on a bus is not much worse than 45 minutes in a car and I can do something other than think about traffic that way.

I don’t drive in Portland, at all. It’s MAX and walking 100%, it’s so damn easy.

This person does moss right.
My landscapers took it upon themselves to apply moss killer to my grass and it’s breaking my heart.

Now that I’m going to work at the typical employer for people in my field out here, it’s a single bus from a stop a few short blocks away from my house to the campus with a handful of stops on the way , then nothing could be more than a reasonable walk or shuttle away.

From most commutes with in Seattle and the main suburbs limits or along major arterials and highways, the bus works pretty well. I started driving to work all the time and I actually kind of miss reading a book while somebody else does the driving to and from work.

I honestly don’t know the last time I saw a clean 90 sedan.

If it’s green moss it counts as a lawn. At least for me in the PNW

My thought, exactly! They killed the moss on the north side of my fence where the sun never shines, too. I was cultivating that moss because it was green and served the same purpose as a lawn.
If I could get a nice solid layer growing everywhere, I’d try to find some way to kill off all the grass so I didn’t need lawn mowing during the growing season.
